Also, with handloads the 30-30 is incredibly capable and versatile, much more so than the 7.62 X 39.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For me personally, I&amp;#39;ve chosen the Marlin 336 30-30 over the AK 47 for Emergency Prep.
